I studied design and visual communication at Facultad de Artes y Diseño, UNAM, in Mexico city. During the first years I learnt the blocks of typography, photography, graphic design and drawing. While for the last 2 years I learnt the principles of 3D design (POP, stand, packaging and product design), Branding and 3D product modeling and rendering.
For 7 months I did an internship in Programa Universitario de Alimentos,UNAM, one of the Food program department of my university. My role was to design the stationery for all the courses that they offered including booklets, CD´s cover, diplomas, posters and social media management. Photography was also required. In here I started to apply my inter discipline skills.
For 4 months I did an internship in Grupo Vitalmex, S.A de C.V., a company that offers medical products and services. I worked as a 3D designer, assembling dummies, designing stands and banners. I also designed signs, posters, and I was responsible for the digital printing area, which included: selecting the best paper for each specific product, printing, assembling, binding, stapling, folding, pasting and cutting.
I studied a postgraduate program named Publications and pre press. The entire project was based in design thinking methodology. The goal was to produce one book,
e-book and work on the pre press files ready to be print for several products, for instance: book, cover book, box, press kit, POP, notebook, USB, banner and billboard.
As I want to study a masters degree in an english speaking country I decided to move to Ireland for one year to improve my english. As part of my experience I took english classes and worked as an au pair. It was the best decision that I´ve ever made as I´ve been learning from all the people, places and situations that I´ve been trough, in fact what I've been learning the most is about myself and how powerful I can be. I really feel proud of myself.
After one year I decided to stay longer in Ireland because I listened to many amazing stories of life that helped me to set bigger goals for myself. Nowadays I´m working as a freelance for a Human Resources client, a pianist and IT graduates. Now I´m ready to launch for my design career! and for this reason I´m currently looking for a challenging and rewarding internship.
